2020 Carols at Karangahake with Kerepehi Brass

It's time for the 2020 Carols in Karangahake. On Tuesday the 22nd at 6:00pm we will be meeting in the car park in Karangahake gorge. We will play there for about half an hour before we make our way around the windows walk playing carols along the way on the river side and in the tunnels for a one of a kind sound. Every year we draw a fantastic crowd and the sound of the band is amazing as it echoes down through the gorge adding to the already stunning scenery. This is a not to miss event!!! Please like and share to spread the word!!!
We are also opening the opportunity to any bands people from all over to come join. If your interested in playing with us for the event please let us know

Book Launch
'More True Tales of Thames'
Sat December 5th 4:00pm

Enjoy a good yarn? Love local history?
Join us for wine and cheese to celebrate the launch of our new book, 'More True Tales of Thames,' and an opportunity to hear from some of the authors.
The True Tales series is a collection of true stories brought together from many contributors with a link to this region. Wanting more than just another history book written by some professors in a closed up office, some like-minded individuals in the Coromandel came up with the fantastic format that is True Tales. This format has now spread to heritage groups across the country, recording authentic stories of life in New Zealand. More True Tales of Thames is a sequel to 2017's extremely popular True Tales of Thames.
Books will be available to purchase for $45.00.
